Welcome to the Friday at the Fire Station Link-Up Party!
If you are returning thank you for linking up your wonderful posts last week! If you are new, I am so glad you are here! I would love for you all to follow me on Instagram and Facebook to stay in the loop!
We finished up school about a week ago and I have been so busy this past week trying to get all the stuff done on my to-do list that has been backing up. Then I can start my other to-do list of all the fun stuff that I want to get done around the house for organization/decorating etc. I know I don’t always get it all accomplished but it helps going into summer break with a list! I will try to fit in blogging when I can but I know I need to use my break to get all the things accomplished! How about you all….do you have lots on your to-do list this summer?
Featured Post
The featured post this week belongs to DIY Vibes and her post DIY Patriotic Flag and Constitution Framed Art. For me the best projects are ones that you have the stuff on hand and are quick. I think I have everything for this and I actually just printed off the copy of the Constitution so I can get started! I thought this would be a great addition to my patriotic decor!
Party Rules
Please link up, directly to your post, with anything as long as it is family friendly and God-honoring, old posts and new. Some topics might include anything to do with homemaking, homeschooling, cooking, sewing, crafts, DIY Projects, house remodel, decorating, modest fashion, being a wife, mother, etc.
Don’t forget to follow me on Facebook and Twitter so I can remind you about the weekly link-up. Please leave me a comment and let me know if you follow me and I will be happy to follow you back!
Try to visit another blog or two and leave them a comment. We all love comments! I would appreciate a link back to this link-up on your post or somewhere on your blog. That is the best way to spread the word! A button to share this link-up with others can be found on the sidebar, or a text link back is fine too.
By linking up you are saying it’s ok for me, A Fireman’s Wife, to share your posts and pictures via social media, and as a feature on this blog, with an explicit link back to your original source.

Summer is so wonderful, but SO challenging for blogging. Every year I wonder about taking the summer off.
Jen says
I agree! I have thought about that too. I will still do the link up but not sure how often I will post otherwise. Enjoy your weekend!
Pamela @ DIY Vibes says
I feel you on your “to-do” list, Jen. I purposefully stepped back for a month from blogging to finish the school year (my twins graduated from 8th grade) and to get the house/yard/patio ready for summer. There’s still so much to do but I’m trying to find the right balance, I’m sure you will too.
Jen says
Yes, finding the right balance it key! I figure I won’t stress about it and other than the link up I will get to blogging when I can. Enjoy your time off!

The featured decorations are so perfect for summer! Thanks for sharing and for hosting the linkup!

Your summer list sounds really ambitious! I am retired, so my lists always include creative projects, including making blankets for Project Linus.

Yes, my time is so dictated during the school year that to me it feels good to get lots done around the house. I do enjoy it!

I don’t have much on my to list this summer. I like to relax and unwind and read a lot of books by the water in the summer.
Jen says
Sounds wonderful! Enjoy your time! 🙂

Thank you so much for hosting! This week I am excited to share my summer outdoor spaces tour, outdoor patriotic tablescape and styling a patriotic tray for summer! Hope you are staying well and happy!

Thank you for sharing! Looking forward to seeing all your patriotic posts!
