Friday at the Fire Station Link-Up Party # 108

March 22, 2019 by Jen 11 Comments

Welcome to the Friday at the Fire Station Link-Up Party!

If you are returning thank you for linking up your wonderful posts last week!  If you are new, I am so glad you are here!  I would love for you all to follow me on Instagram and Facebook to stay in the loop!

We only did school three days this week and have Thursday and Friday off.  We are not taking a full spring break right now because we are taking off two weeks in May for a family vacation.  We still needed a little break right now so this way we can still enjoy a nice long weekend.  Yesterday my 2nd daughter and I spent the entire day going through and organizing her room.  It was quite the long overdue spring cleaning project.  When we moved last year we never really went through her stuff, we just packed it all and moved it.  She was finally ready to get rid of some stuff so we did a huge clean out today.  It was a big project but it feels so organized and clean and I love it!

With that being said I didn’t do any other blogging this week and I never had time to go through all the posts for features.  Next week we should be back to business as usual!  In the mean time here is a fun post from last year to get you in the mood for Easter!  These Bunny Rolls are just the cutest for your Easter table!  Have a wonderful weekend!

Good morning, Jen. It does feel good to get things cleaned out and organized. I worked on my clothes recently and it’s so nice to have more room in my closet and not be looking at things I never wear. But I have definitely got some other areas to tackle! It never seems to end. 🙂 Thanks for hosting and have a great weekend.

My middle son and I spent the better part of the day yesterday going through his room too. He decided it was time to get rid of al his Lego sets, his toys, and most of his stuffed animals. I guess he just decided now that he’s a teenager he doesn’t need any of those childhood things anymore.

My daughter was willing to clean through a bunch a stuff too! It totally has to be their decision and all of a sudden they are ready! She did still keep lots of toys, which is good as she is still 9, but was willing to part with some of the stuff she has had for years!

    Happy spring to you, Jen!
I am finally back over after a long absence. We are moved into our new-to-us home and loving it ~ just still unboxing and putting things away. Most of our things were in storage for 3 1/2 years so there is a ton to go through (much like your daughter’s bedroom) to decide what to keep and what to donate/sell. I think it’ll be a good six months before we are totally settled, but that’s nothing new.

On the blogging side, I’ve linked up a cute post with Monsieur Rabbit coming inside as part of a Spring Pinterest Centerpiece Challenge (#71). Hope you and your readers like it!

Off to unbox more and later to the Prairie Home (our big Charleston Landmark trailer) to pick up the last of our things to move; big cleaning taking place later this week so it can go up for sale. She’s been a good home…

Have a great weekend and enjoy your spring! I was over in Mesa just one day visiting my cousin there on the way out to meet the movers.

    Hugs,
    Barb 🙂
