Last year at this time when we were building our house I remember being so excited that we were going to have a guest room. I envisioned the space being light and bright and something that I could change out for the different holidays and seasons. Fast forward a year and I have it all ready for Christmas; and now I just need the guests!
I knew it would be too expensive to change out the quilt or bedspread for every holiday or season so I went with a white quilt and shams. This way it will go with everything and still keep the room light and bright. Then I can have fun just changing up the pillows, sheets, and throw blankets!
I actually found these sheets on sale at Target last year for about $20! I was thinking ahead knowing I would love to have them out this year when the guest room was completed. I love the car or truck with a tree on it and I’m so glad they are still totally in this year. My original inspiration was the Pottery Barn ones, which they do still have, but I was so excited to find similar ones for much cheaper.
Here is the dresser on the other side of the room. Still trying to figure out what to put above the dresser or if I should leave it as is??
This year most of my Christmas decor includes greenery, pinecones, and pops of red. I love bringing in the bright red at Christmas time. I have decided I need to come down and be a guest in my own guest room soon!
Our guest room also has it’s own bathroom attached to it so I couldn’t forget about adding some Christmas touches in there too!
Rather than purchasing separate Christmas towels I added some red gingham ribbon to my white towels and it added the perfect touch! I seriously have this ribbon all over my house this year!
I hope you enjoyed my Christmas Guest Room Makeover tour!

I love this SO MUCH! Before I ever had a guest room, I thought how cool it would be to have it Christmas-themed and leave it that way all year! 🙂 You’ve done a beautiful job.

I want to come and be your guest. That vintage laundry basket is the perfect size and shape for that corner. I am going to try to find some sheets too after Christmas on sale.
