What I Wore ~ Navy Maxi Dress

I hope everyone had a great 3 days off last weekend!  As I mentioned in my previous post I had fun decorating my house all patriotic and making red, white, and blue popsicles.  I love having all the red, white, and blue out in the summer time.  I also thought it would be fun to dress patriotic for church on Sunday.  🙂

I love this dress that I found at Costco last year.  I remember I was still nursing my little one at the time I bought it, and I loved that I actually found a dress I could nurse in!  I wear it with a halftee to make it more modest on top, and the halftees also work so well for nursing.  I know Costco no longer has the dress but I was looking on ThredUp tonight and they have the exact same one!  So grab it quickly if you want it because things tend to go fast on ThredUp!

I twisted the sides of my hair back and secured it with Lilla Rose North Star bobby pins.  Both the North Star flexi clip and bobby pins were sold last November and December.  I was so excited when the company just brought them back in May!  I love how pretty and sparkly they are.  If you have never tried Lilla Rose bobby pins before you really need to.  They are the BEST EVER!  They are super hold and will stay all day holding even a small amount of hair.  So much better than the ones you will find at the drug store.

My necklace is actually a Lilla Rose hairband that I took the adjustable elastic off of and replaced it with the magnetic clasp add on.  I love to make necklaces out of the hairbands.  This hairband is now one of the hostess exclusives.  That means you can only purchase it if you host a party.  Facebook parties count too!  If your party sales reach $100 you can get this necklace for half off and you get the free hostess flexi!  Leave me a comment or message me if you are interested in hosting a Facebook party.  🙂

Here is the matching flexi clip that goes with the hairband that is also a hostess exclusive.  Perfect for 4th of July!

I would love if you would join my Friday link-up party!

So cute and patriotic!! Have never heard of a half-tee but followed your link to check them out. I think I need some in my wardrobe. Perfect under pull over sweaters, I would think, on days that aren’t bitter cold.

Thanks for linking up with us for Fabulous Friday!

This is such an awesome simple dress for getting your patriotic vibes on without being really tacky. I would totally pile on the red accessories though!

Thanks for joining us on Wearable Wednesday Jen!
