Winter whites and a few pops of greenery are a great way to bring in some winter decor to your home!
Christmas is all over and packed away, and while that always makes me a little sad it does feel good to get everything all clean and organized again. I always like to keep things simple right away while I am going through the process or decluttering and organizing. Soon enough the Valentine decor will make its way out, but in the mean time I love to enjoy the simplicity.
A little greenery and white accessories were added to the mantel and shelves, and black and white pillows to the couch. I loved just shopping my house for the short time my winter decor will be up.
The rest of my pine stems and trees were packed away but I had some eucalyptus stems and a wreath from last year that found a home in the dining room, along with some other white accessories.
If you have followed me on Instagram or my blog for awhile you know I love decorating and changing things up for the different holidays and seasons. I love how making these simple changes can keep things fresh and exciting in your home!
This final picture will hopefully be my project in the coming year. Sometimes you just get the itch to totally change up a space and I think this area is in need of a little update. I haven’t totally figured out what I am going to do yet but I will keep you posted when I get to it! Happy winter decorating!

Very pretty. I too love that clean and uncluttered look after we take down the holiday decor.

Your home is lovely. Look forward to seeing all your changes. I also love the string art state sign on wood. Did you make that?
Jen says
Thank you Pamela! No, the state sign is from the Etsy shop TulipGardenGifts. 🙂 Let me know if you need the link!
