Welcome to the Friday at the Fire Station Link-Up Party! If you are returning thank you for linking up your wonderful posts last week! If you are new, I am so glad you are here! I would love for you all to follow me on Instagram and Facebook to stay in the loop!
So does anyone else feel like the summer days just get away from you?? When we are not doing our normal school schedule I feel like it is so easy to get off track. Suddenly it is Friday again and I realized I have not blogged all week! We have spent the last two weeks taking the kids to swimming lessons and it is right in the middle of the day so I feel like it is hard to get much else accomplished. I think getting a little off schedule is what summer is all about and needed sometimes too! 🙂
Because blogging did not happen this week I thought I would share a few of my recent Jane.com finds. Anyone else love that site?? I originally found it for clothes, which I still love, but since moving into our new house I also love looking at the “Home” section. They have some really cute stuff for great prices. Just remember with Jane the sales go really quick but I have noticed that even if you miss something keep checking back and I will often see it on sale again! Here are my recent pillows that I added to our family room for summer. I am all about the blue colors and I love them put with pops of red throughout all the summer patriotic holidays. How cute are these laundry room signs?!?! Cant’ wait to get our laundry room all done! And if any of you need any Christmas in July stuff these adorable Farmhouse Christmas prints are only $4.99!
Featured Post
Our featured post from last week belongs to Emily at Domestic Deadline and her post Gluten Free Blueberry Coffee Cake. I love making yummy treats and sweets but, as I think I have mentioned before, I often try to eat pretty healthy on a normal day to day basis. I just feel better when I do! So I love the idea of a treat to try that is gluten free! This sounds great for summer with all the blueberries, and those of you lucky enough to go blueberry picking and have an abundance this is also for you! Blueberry picking just doesn’t happen here in the desert but I love getting the big packs in the summer from Costco. Head on over to check out her yummy recipe!

yes, summer is all about doing things a little different, slowing down, take some time away and not feeling the pressure of it all. Blessings and thanks for sharing your finds and for the linkup 🙂

Hello Jen! You are right ~ summer is for spending time with family, enjoying the beauty {and heat!} of summer and living life. Not everything has to be about blogging and all that goes with it. 😉 I’m happy to be back by to visit and THANK YOU! as always for hosting FATFS!!! <3
Since it has been quite a while since I've been by, I shared two posts with you and your readers this week: French Ethereal's 4th Birthday Anniversaire! and A Little Bit of Paris Aujourd'hui. Getting back to what French Ethereal is all about and the rich heritage that comes with it.
Have a great weekend,
Hugs,
Barb 🙂
