Welcome to the Friday at the Fire Station Link-Up Party!
If you are returning thank you for linking up your wonderful posts last week! If you are new, I am so glad you are here! I would love for you all to follow me on Instagram and Facebook to stay in the loop!
So this past week has been a little crazy, and stressful, with a lot going on so I never got a new post up. I have also been MIA on social media this last week. Some weeks you just have to stop all the extras and focus on the kids or where you are needed at the present time. I still wanted to be able to get the link-up party up for you all!
In the mean time I thought I would leave you with this Orange Vanilla Poppy Seed Bread! If you have not tried this before you totally should! You won’t regret it! 😉
Featured Post
Our featured post from last week belongs to Jessica at This Happy Mommy and her post Skinny Strawberry Lemonade Muffins. I love the idea of a strawberry muffin for something else to do with all those wonderful strawberries this summer. And the touch of lemon sounds amazing! I am totally looking forward to making these soon. Head on over to her blog to grab the recipe!
Party Rules
Please link up, directly to your post, with anything as long as it is family friendly and God-honoring, old posts and new. Some topics might include anything to do with homemaking, homeschooling, cooking, sewing, crafts, DIY Projects, house remodel, decorating, modest fashion, being a wife, mother, etc.
Don’t forget to follow me on Facebook and Twitter so I can remind you about the weekly link-up. Please leave me a comment and let me know if you follow me and I will be happy to follow you back!
Try to visit another blog or two and leave them a comment. We all love comments! I would appreciate a link back to this link-up on your post or somewhere on your blog. That is the best way to spread the word! A button to share this link-up with others can be found on the sidebar, or a text link back is fine too.
By linking up you are saying it’s ok for me, A Fireman’s Wife, to share your posts and pictures via social media, and as a feature on this blog, with an explicit link back to your original source.

Yes, some weeks are just that way. Good for you for not piling on the extra stuff and for recognizing what’s really important.

Beautiful looking bundt!! I’m not a baker but I sure do love to eat good baked goods!

Thank you! I try to avoid them on a day to day basis but baked goods are sure fun sometimes!

If I hadn’t scheduled posts in advance i would not have been on the blog this week either; I definitely wasn’t around on social media. Every now and then I think we all need to set aside the blog/business and spend time with the family. Hope you had a great week.
Jen says
Yes, totally. We definitely all need a break sometimes!
